2024 has been a year of finding my colors, not just in my creative expression through art but also through my home, my wardrobe and all I do.

As one who is drawn to color in general, it’s been interesting to see how attached I’ve been to certain colors which has almost limited my freedom to explore others. Experimentation continues over here…

Yes, I paint on the floor! Not on an easel and rarely on a table, sometimes I paint by pinning my piece to the wall. The floor is where it’s at. It’s intimate and the relationship between the substrate and I are working it out together. Raw canvas involves patience, imagination and engagement of my entire body.
